Meeting Garrison Keillor

I am at the Erma Bombeck Writer's Workshop.  I arrived a day early and slept a glorious uninteruppted 11 hours last night!  I read and napped throughout the day and didn't leave my room until around 3:30 when I needed to sign in for the workshop.  The highlight of my evening, and I'm sure the highlight of this trip, was meeting Garrison Keillor!  I loved hearing him in person.  I've met some fun new friends and they were kind enough to take a picture for me.

I have included a couple of articles and more pictures at these links:

Gee whiz...I thought I was the highlight of the conference for you! Great website, hubby did good. I'll be back! Gotta go now and make a bologna sandwich look like dinner. Meanwhile you are probably eating steak and listening to Mike Peters.

    Ginger,

What a great picture! So glad to have met you at the conference. I hope we're both able to attend the next workshop in 2010.

How FUN, Ginger!!!! I also enjoy G.K.'s Home Companion though I was well into my adult years before I'd even heard of him. I was a preacher's kid that WAS allowed to listen to rock music.

And btw, on a totally, frivolous, girlie note...I LOVE that shirt!!! TOO CUTE!!! And you look marvy in it.

I'll never forget your clothing dilemma that time you spoke at some luncheon. You're a true hoot, woman, and a blessing to know. Surely do with the path between our backdoors was a heck of a lot shorter.

    Love and kisses,
