Alex's new truck
Thirteen year old Alex received a letter from my dad the other day. After reading it he informed me with great excitement that Grandpa was giving him his old chevy pick-up truck and they are going to rebuild and restore it together!
I know that truck. Dad bought it used when I was in high school. At the time it was only a few years old. Now, it's nearly 30 years old.
A couple of days later Dad brought the truck to the house.
When my son looks at it, this is what he sees:

You captured your son's thoughts so perfectly with those pictures. I'm sure he will be delighted with his new lawn ornament..uh..I mean restoration project. What an insightful grandpa!
